It’s almost that time of the year again! The 49th edition of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) is a few months away, and the ten entries vying for this year’s awards and box office cume have been revealed. The much-anticipated list of finalists was revealed last October 17, 2023, via the Facebook page of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA). MMDA Chairman Romando S. Artes was on hand to unveil the Magic 10 via livestream.
Out of over 30 film submissions, here are the Magic 10 that made the cut:

The ten contenders will be shown in over 800 cinemas nationwide. The festival will kick off on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023, and will run until January 7, 2024.
