“For 50 years, Shadow’s been in a state of suspended animation. He’s coming out of it seeking revenge,” says Keanu Reeves, who voices Shadow, a fan favorite villain in the Sonic universe. Says Idris Elba, who plays Knuckles, another popular character: “Keanu, whatever he does, he kind of brings icon status to it.” Reeves, well-loved for his Matrix and John Wick characters, adds, “Sonic’s no match for me.”
