CreaZion Studios and Megaworld Cinemas Bring “OCTOBER FRIGHTS” to the Big Screen

Horror season is officially here, and CreaZion Studios and Megaworld Cinemas are bringing it back where it belongs: on the big screen.

This October, the two companies are teaming up for “October Frights,” a special horror collaboration featuring two films across two different nights. The lineup begins with “When Evil Lurks” on October 14, followed by “Backrooms: Everything Must Go” on October 21.

The concept is simple: two films, two October dates, and two very different nightmares. “When Evil Lurks” brings a more unsettling and visceral kind of terror, while “Backrooms: Everything Must Go” leans into a more nightmarish, surreal brand of horror. Both screenings are designed to give audiences the kind of communal experience that hits differently inside a dark theater.

Rather than treating the films as regular screenings, CreaZion Studios and Megaworld Cinemas are positioning “October Frights” as an event for horror fans who want to experience the tension, sound, darkness, suspense, and screams of the genre together.

Tickets are priced at ₱270 in Metro Manila and ₱200 in provincial cinemas. They are available through Megaworld Cinemas ticket booths and online.
