“The Land Before Time” is heading back to Philippine cinemas this October, giving longtime fans the chance to revisit the animated classic on the big screen while introducing Littlefoot and his friends to a new generation.

Originally released in 1988 and directed by Don Bluth, the film will screen exclusively at select Robinsons Movieworld branches on October 9 to 11, October 16 to 18, and October 23 to 25.

At just 1 hour and 9 minutes, “The Land Before Time” tells a compact but deeply emotional story built around friendship, courage, loss, and hope. Decades after its original release, the film remains a defining animated adventure for many viewers who grew up with Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike.

The story follows Littlefoot and his young dinosaur friends as they journey through a dangerous prehistoric world in search of their families and a new home. Along the way, they are forced to grow up quickly, face fear and uncertainty, and learn that difficult journeys become easier when they are not faced alone.

For audiences who first discovered the film in the ’80s and ’90s, the theatrical return offers a rare chance to experience a childhood favorite in cinemas again. Younger viewers and first-time audiences, meanwhile, can experience the film’s characters, animation, and themes on the big screen for the first time.

The exclusive screenings will be held at Opus Premier Cinemas, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Antipolo, Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, Robinsons Tuguegarao, and Robinsons Galleria Cebu.

“The Land Before Time” screens exclusively at Robinsons Movieworld on October 9 to 11, October 16 to 18, and October 23 to 25.
