If you love the feeling of a crowd buzzing before a big drop, that was the vibe at the Empire Stage when Marvel Television and Marvel Animation rolled out a show-and-tell of what’s cooking for Disney+, surprise guests and fresh footage and the kind of teases that make your inner geek start planning watch parties already. The panel was moderated by Phase Hero’s Brandon Davis alongside Brad Winderbaum, who oversees both Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, and the energy was up from the jump.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man S2 swings in Fall 2026

They opened with Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, aiming squarely at Spidey lore lovers, and yes there was a shot of a sentient black goo that got the room loud in the best way, Fall 2026 is the window so mark it and get that symbiote speculation rolling now.
X-Men ‘97 S2 brings the OG brain trust

Then came a one-two punch for X-Men ‘97. Eric and Julia Lewald, the writers who helped build the original 90s series, are back as executive producers alongside original director Larry Houston, which feels right because the show’s heartbeat has always been character first and mutant mayhem second, and Season 2 is targeting Summer 2026 with new footage already shown to the room.

New York Comic Con needed a Hell’s Kitchen moment and it got one when Charlie Cox hit the stage to talk where Matt Murdock is headed next, and then Krysten Ritter walked out and the place popped because Jessica Jones is back, Season 2 lands March 2026 on Disney+, and the team even confirmed a Season 3 is already in the works which is exactly the kind of confidence you want to hear for a street-level saga that never really left our heads.
Wonder Man drops its first trailer, premieres January 27, 2026

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sir Ben Kingsley brought the first trailer for Wonder Man, the Hollywood-inside-Hollywood series about a superhero movie remake and the chaos that follows, they talked about working with Destin Daniel Cretton and shooting in Los Angeles and how fun it is to play a performer who is also a performer which sounds like a playground for meta mischief, the series runs eight episodes and debuts January 27, 2026 on Disney+.
VisionQuest closes the WandaVision trilogy

Brad Winderbaum saved one last surprise for the end, calling up Paul Bettany to talk VisionQuest, which completes the arc that started with WandaVision and continued with last year’s Agatha All Along, and Bettany said he’s reuniting with James Spader’s Ultron which is a sentence that instantly wakes up every MCU brain cell, the show is set for 2026 and we’ve got questions already.
This slate feels like Marvel calibrating its TV rhythm for 2026, spacing tentpoles across the year while doubling down on two engines that never run out of fuel, Spider-Man nostalgia and X-Men legacy, and if Daredevil and Jessica Jones are truly back in each other’s orbit then the Netflix-era grit gets a second life with a bigger canvas, pair that with a left-field industry satire like Wonder Man and a Vision story that brings Ultron back into the conversation and you get a lineup that can hit different tones without feeling like it’s chasing the same note every time.
