Brittney Griner, Chelsea Gray Headline First "WOMEN’S BWB NEXT UP" 2026 Camp in Singapore

Some of the biggest names in women’s basketball are heading to Singapore to help develop the next generation of international talent!
The WNBA, NBA, FIBA, and Sport Singapore are launching the inaugural Women’s Basketball Without Borders Next Up (Women’s BWB Next Up 2026) camp from November 18 to 21 at OCBC Arena, The Kallang.
The four-day camp will bring together 80 of the top high-school-age female basketball prospects from around the world for athletic testing, skill development, 3-on-3 competitions, 5-on-5 games, life-skills seminars, and coaching from current and former WNBA and FIBA players and staff.
Among the WNBA stars taking part are Brittney Griner, Chelsea Gray, Ariel Atkins, Jordin Canada, Bridget Carleton, Kaitlyn Chen, Naz Hillmon, and Michaela Onyenwere.
Griner enters the camp as a WNBA champion and two-time FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup champion, while Gray brings four WNBA championships and two World Cup titles. Atkins, Canada, and Carleton also arrive with championship experience at the professional or international level.
The coaching and personnel group includes Natalie Achonwa, Brittni Donaldson, Jose Fernandez, Roneeka Hodges, Briann January, Ta’Shauna “Sugar” Rodgers, Eric Thibault, and Kristi Toliver. Japanese basketball great Yuko Oga will also participate as a WNBA and FIBA legend.
Campers will go through more than just basketball training. The program also includes a clinic for 50 girls in collaboration with Sport Singapore, as well as coaches and referees clinics.
The Singapore event marks the first Women’s BWB Next Up camp and comes as Basketball Without Borders celebrates its 25th anniversary. The NBA and FIBA created BWB Next Up as two annual camps for 80 top male and 80 top female prospects from outside the United States, with standout participants earning opportunities to advance to future BWB All-Star camps. Singapore previously hosted Basketball Without Borders Asia in 2010 and 2025.
Since Basketball Without Borders launched in 2001, the program has reached more than 5,200 participants from 150 countries and territories. A total of 155 former campers have gone on to reach the NBA or WNBA, including 23 who advanced to the WNBA. Camper rosters will be announced in the coming weeks.
Women’s BWB Next Up 2026 runs from November 18 to 21 at OCBC Arena, The Kallang in Singapore.
